Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has NOT been previously published and is not being submitted to any other journals for publication.
- Permission has been given by all authors (including the faculty mentor if necessary) for publication of this submission in Artifacts.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, PDF, or other image file.
- The text is less than 10 pages long; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Unlimited Personal Release Agreement
Grant
For consideration which I acknowledge, I irrevocably grant to THE CURATORS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI ("University") and University's assigns, licensees and successors the right to use my image, likeness, voice and/or interview or biographical material, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other materials, in all forms and all media including composite or modified representations for all purposes, including advertising, trade or any commercial purpose throughout the world and in perpetuity. I waive the right to inspect or approve such materials created and/or used by or on behalf of University pursuant to this release.
Release
I release University, its officers, employees, agents, assigns, successors, licensees, and members of the Board of Curators of the University of Missouri from any claims that may arise herefrom, including but not limited to any claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity or copyright. University is permitted, although not obligated, to include my name as a credit in connection with the use of materials related hereto. University is not obligated to utilize any of the rights granted in this Agreement.
I have read and understood this agreement and I am over the age of 18. This Agreement expresses the complete understanding of the parties.
